Apple Sausage Cheese Pinwheels - Gina's Gourmet
1 can refrigerated crescent dough sheet
1 pkg. smoked gouda cheese, shredded
½ lb. breakfast sausage
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown sausage in medium skillet, drain and set aside. Unroll crescent sheet onto cutting board; press into rectangle shape. Spread apple spread on dough, sprinkle sausage and cheese. Roll up, starting at one end short side of rectangle. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Cut roll-up into 20 pinwheels; place cut sides down and 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
